The Waterloo Snuff Box. (Detail of lid). Presented by Colonel Sir Charles Philip Belson to the officers of the 28th (North Gloucestershire) Regiment to commemorate the part played by the Regiment in the Napoleonic Wars. Carved green basalt and gold, with Sevres porcelain panel inside lid, and cameos of the Duke of Wellington and Field Marshal Blucher. c. 1816.
