Ostrich egg shell. The egg shell has been cut and the 'doors' hinged with silver inserted. Painted white with lacquer finish. Inside is a small diorama of the Battle of Quatre Bras and the Battle of the Imjin River with the Gloucestershire Regiment Colours and other Regimental insignia painted inside and outside the shell. This work took 250 hours.
