Union Flag marked with various place names. This flag was flown in South Africa during the Boer War, outside the tent of Private William Charles Hill. Hill served with Volunteer Active Service Company attached to 2nd Battalion, The Gloucestershire Regiment in 1899 and served until the end of the Boer War.
