King's Colour of the 9th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment. The Colour was presented after World War I and presumably passed to Maj. E.F.B. Witts, 2nd in command of the 9th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment. It then got mislaid and a fresh Colour was presented which was laid up in St. Mary's Church, Cheltenham. This latter bears the Regimental Designation and battle honours. 1914-1918.
