German saw bayonet, complete with scabbard, green bayonet knot, frog and belt. 1896 model with one-piece walnut grip for N.C.O.s. Bayonet pommel in inscribed 'G.J. 4.12', and blade inscribed 'ERFURT' with a crown. Manufactured in Erfurt. Possibly a pioneer bayonet of the Garde-Jäger-Bataillon. c. 1914.
