British Infantry officer's sword, 1895 Pattern. Steel hilt with etched blade engraved "Canadian Artillery". Manufactured by S.J. Pillin of Gerrard Street, London. With steel scabbard and leather sword case. Used by Lieutenant-Colonel H. Needham when first commissioned, and used subsequently by him throughout his service. 1st Battalion, The Gloucestershire Regiment. c. 1914.
